Bio-History Panel Setup

Date: Oct 13, 2016 at 12:00pm to 1:00pm
https://www.facebook.com/events/1781921362080007/ Phoenix Biology and the Chicago Journal of History jointly present a panel on "Bio-History in the Anthropocene: Past & Present." Bringing together renowned professors from University of Notre Dame, Yale University, The University of Oklahoma, and The University of Chicago, this panel will highlight the intersection and interactions between the fields of biological science and humanist inquiry. The speakers will share their insights on how biology lends insight to our understanding of historical and social issues, as well as the insights that biologists might serve to gain by studying historical methods. This is a great and very 'UChicago' opportunity that we hope students and faculty of disciplines will attend! Event details: Thursday, October 13th Social Science Research Building, Room 201 Panel to begin at 3:00, refreshments to start at 2:30
