On Saturday, May 16, the Scouts at U of C RSO are hosting a Medicine Merit Badge clinic, where scouts from the Chicago area will have an opportunity to earn the Medicine Merit Badge. We need volunteer to teach the scouts about the fathers of medicine, physician-patient relationships, the Hippocratic Oath, the different fields in medicine, or other requirements! Volunteers will be given an information pamphlet with important points to cover, so no previous knowledge is required! The event will run from 9:00 am till around 4:00 pm but we really only need volunteers until 1:00 pm in case you want to leave early for Summer Breeze. If you are interested in medicine, and are willing to volunteer to teach the scouts one of many requirements they will be completing that day, please contact Alexander Okamoto at scoutsatuofc@gmail.com or 215-880-1791 to volunteer or with any questions! If you stay until 4:00pm, we can assign the service hours accordingly.
