| Date: Jan 15, 2026 at 5:00pm to 6:30pm | |
Join the UCSC on Thursday, January 15 from 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. for a special MLK-themed edition of our Community Voices program, part of our week-long celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.. Meet Cheryl Miller of SouthSide Together, and Bennie Currie of MBC Financial and CollaBOOration, and learn about their organizations and impact on the Chicago community. Our guests will discuss the work they are doing through community organizing and volunteerism, and share how they remain inspired today. Join us at the UCSC (6030 S. Ellis Ave.) for a conversation and light dinner. We hope to see you there!
Please note that we have a limited number of volunteer spots available across our service activities, and this form is for individual sign-ups from UChicago community members only. If you are trying to sign up members of your RSO, sports team, house, etc., we ask that they use this form to sign up individually. If this event reaches capacity, we encourage you to explore one of our other events, and we may be in touch about opportunities to be added to a waitlist. If you have questions, please get in touch with Rhonda Roseboro, UCSC Associate Director, roseboro@uchicago.edu. | |
