UCSC MLK Week of Service: HPNC Tot Lot |
| Date: Jan 12, 2026 at 12:30pm to 2:30pm | |
Join UCSC on Monday, January 12, from 12:30-2:30 p.m. as we kick off our week-long celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin King Jr.. At this event, we will lend a hand to the Hyde Park Neighborhood Club's (HPNC) and help refresh their Tot Lot! The Tot Lot provides children ages 0–5 a safe, engaging space to explore, play, and develop alongside peers, while caregivers build connections and support their well-being. Volunteers will help to clean and reorganize their space. Gather at the UCSC (6030 S. Ellis Ave.) at 12 p.m. and walk over with other volunteers, or meet us at HPNC (5480 S. Kenwood Avenue). We hope to see you there!
Please note that we have a limited number of volunteer spots available across our service activities, and this form is for individual sign-ups from UChicago community members only. If you are trying to sign up members of your RSO, sports team, house, etc., we ask that they use this form to sign up individually. If this event reaches capacity, we encourage you to explore one of our other events, and we may be in touch about opportunities to be added to a waitlist. If you have questions, please get in touch with Rhonda Roseboro, UCSC Associate Director, roseboro@uchicago.edu.
