UChicago's Folklore Society throws its Folk Festival every year on a Friday and Saturday in February and this year, it runs on the 7th and 8th! On the Saturday of the fest, they run free workshops all day in various rooms of Ida Noyes for folk-related activities, including crafts, dancing, and music! No registration is required, just come to the building and the room of your desired workshop(s) at the specific time. If you end up going to a workshop, email/text/DM me a pic from it to receive credit unless I happen to see you there lol.
