NOTE: Email Rick in advance if interested in administrative or judging. The Congressional Debate Team at the University of Chicago is looking for judges for its Fall Quarter tournament. The tournament will take place on November 16th, 2013 in Harper Memorial Library. There will be three sessions available for judging, but judges are welcome to judge for multiple sessions. The available sessions include: session 1 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, session 2 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and session 3 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Judges will be required to listen to speakers argue for or against various topics focused on Public Welfare, Economics, and Foreign Affairs, provide brief written feedback, and assign scores to speeches. Judges may also be asked to minimally assist in an additional administrative capacity. Lunch will be provided for judges.
