Volunteers will help assemble boxes of shelf-stable food items for distribution through our drive-thru food pantry as well as sort, and process food donations from the community. Your two hours mean a LOT to our neighbors in need. Each volunteer during a two-hour shift contributes 21 assembled boxes that feed 14 families in need! Qualifications: Volunteers must be comfortable with moving and standing for extended periods of time, and be comfortable with lifting at least 30 pounds. Shifts Opportunities: Shifts will be 9am to 11 am and 12 pm to 2 pm Tuesday-Thursday. There are a limited number of volunteers with under 10 per shift. Due to COVID-19, please be advised that we are following the CDC recommendations we are asking that if you are exhibiting flu-like symptoms, or have recently gotten over an illness aware that you refrain from volunteering until you are fully recovered. COVID-19 Guidelines: Volunteers must maintain social distancing while volunteering. Volunteering must wear masks during their shifts and at all times.
