S.N.A.P. Chats: Mental Health and Self Care

Date: Nov 11, 2020 at 2:00pm to 3:00pm
Host: Center for Leadership / Student Activities "The new program called S.N.A.P. Chats stands for Shaping New Advocates in a Pandemic. This will involve students in discussions that focus on empowering and strengthening students’ leadership skills, and overall social awareness during the pandemic. Their goal is to continue to engage with the student body even if it can’t be in person. Each chat will have notable members of the UNT community discussing topics from allyship to mental health. Talks will be held biweekly, with dates going through November. Students should attend S.N.A.P. Chats because it gives them the opportunity and tools to engage meaningfully with our campus and beyond. We are beginning to have many long overdue conversations in this country and our goal was to address as many as we can in this series.” said Destinee Williams, graduate assistant for the Center for Leadership and Service."
