Time to participate in the Great American Clean Up with Keep Denton Beautiful - Denton's largest and longest-running citywide litter cleanup! Cleanups will begin at 9 a.m. at locations around Denton, followed by a volunteer appreciation party from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Denton Civic Center/Quakertown Park (321 E. McKinney St.). The volunteer party will feature a free lunch. In addition to lunch, enjoy educational activities, music, kids' bounce houses, and more! Last year, we had more than 2,400 volunteers register, and cleaned more than 3.5 TONS of trash and recycling from our city's streets, waterways, and public spaces! Help us clean up litter that has accumulated in our community during the winter months. Let's keep Denton clean and free of litter! You will need to submit a waiver in order to participate. I will need someone to pick up our supplies! GAC Supply Pickup Days are Tuesday, March 17 and Wednesday, March 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Denton Civic Center, 321 E. McKinney St., Denton, TX 76201. Additionally, you will pick up our t-shirts!
