Vestido Rojo is the signature Go Red event for Hispanic/Latina women. Historically it has been a half day interactive free educational event offered in Spanish. This year we are changing this up a bit! To accommodate a different dynamic, we will be hosting a two day event with the screenings, vendors, and interactive demonstrations on Saturday, October 12th, 2019 at our community kickoff. Participants journey through a series of health screenings, hearing exams, workshops on cooking, nutrition, physical activity, and heart disease risk factors and prevention. Heart Disease is the No. 1 killer of Hispanic/ Latina women. Join us as we empower Hispanic/ Latina women to know their risks and learn how to prevent heart disease!
