It’s a day filled with exciting things to do throughout Downtown, from taking care of your holiday shopping in Sundance Square to dining out in some of the finest restaurants in Fort Worth, all while enjoying the holiday spirit of the country’s top holiday parade. You will check in at the southeast corner of Henderson & Weatherford, this is the old Avis car rental building. There is also the Tarrant County Parking Garage located at 601 Weatherford that is offering free parking for Volunteers. PLEASE NOTE: Parking in this garage is NOT in-and-out parking. Once you have parked in this lot, you must stay parked in the garage until the Parade is over and Weatherford Street has opened to traffic. Parade Marshals – Do you want to be in the parade, wear a cool shirt, and make sure things go smoothly? This is one of our most important Parade Volunteer positions! Parade Marshals are assigned to each Parade entry, making sure equipment is working properly and are keeping the pace. Must be able to walk the complete parade route of 1.5 miles. Meet at 2:40 pm, we are leaving by 3 pm!!!!
