BLI Leadership Lunch: Changing Faces |
| Date: Feb 25, 2022 at 2:00pm to 3:02pm | |
Change Faces: Code-Switching, Impression Management, and Identity Politics Shape and Inform Leadership Practice.
Dr. Natasha T. Turman serves as Director for the Women in Science and Engineering Residence Program at the University of Michigan. As a natural scientist turned critical scholar-practitioner, Dr. Turman has a commitment to interdisciplinary scholarship and transformative teaching. Her professional experiences and scholarship cut across two distinct yet complementary areas: gender and diversity in higher education and critical leadership education. These targeted foci allow her to explore who is excluded from the dominant narratives of post-secondary education, what systemic processes maintain this exclusion, and how institutions of higher education can be a catalyst for change.
The workshop includes a grab and go lunch for all registered attendees!
