DP Day is a day of service-learning for University of Michigan students! DP Day volunteers will work alongside Detroiters and fellow U of M students on a variety of tasks to address community-identified needs, such as blight removal and community revitalization. Additionally, volunteers will attend a pre-DP Day volunteer orientation, as well as reflect on their service during DP Day. This event is a chance for participants to learn more about Detroit and service learning, and engage with great organizations working to make change happen! Transportation is provided so we don`t need drivers! Volunteers will also get a free t-shirt and lunch. IMPORTANT: When signing up on the registration form, sign up under Alpha Phi Omega and put the organization type as service learning so you will volunteer with other bros. We also need to designate a team leader, so the first person to email me with interest in being the leader will get an extra half hour of service.
