Date: Apr 7, 2021 at 7:30pm to 9:00pm
University of Michigan's Foundation for International Medical Relief for Children (FIMRC) chapter, is hosting a free virtual panel event with epidemiologist, former city Health Commissioner, and progressive activist Dr. Abdul El-Sayed! The panel will take place on April 7th from 7:30-9:00 p.m. est via Zoom where Dr. Abdul El-Sayed will cover his personal experiences in medicine and public health and will also provide great advice about how to succeed as a pre-health student. I thought that this event would be a great leadership event opportunity. The panel will be followed by a raffle with prizes from wonderful stores in Ann Arbor like MDen, Starbucks, Cherry Republic, Soul Cycle, and many more! All proceeds from the raffle will go towards funding for medical supplies for FIMRC's free clinic in Alajuelita, Costa Rica.
