Join the annual Out of the Darkness fundraising walk through the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention at the University of Michigan! We will meet at the cube behind the union (wearing masks of course). The walk will include an opening ceremony that we will watch via zoom, then we will start a socially-distanced walk, taking a few photos to show our participation. There will be giveaways/educational videos every 30 minutes that day until the closing ceremony, but you only need to walk for the hour to get a fellowship, as there is no need to track/show that we walked any specific distance. The purpose of walking is to show support for the cause! In order to join the Alpha Phi Omega team, follow the link below and click "register now." Then click "join a team" and search for Alpha Phi Omega (of which Natalie Spittler is the team captain). Then continue to fill out the prompts (shoot for a fundraising goal of $150, although you will still receive a fellowship if you are unable to fundraise). After your page is created, share it on social media and ask for donations to gain service hours! You will receive a service hour for every $50 you raise, and can gain up to 3 service hours in addition to the fellowship.
