Are you interested in getting involved with the community of Washtenaw in their pursuit of promoting Jewish family's well-being, delivering groceries, packing food pantry bags, or other service opportunities? Well look no further! Sign up here to volunteer with the Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County. They have many in person, over the phone, and over zoom volunteer opportunities for those who are interested. You can choose from well-being phones calls to community members, food deliveries, packing food pantry bags, or other general errands for the community. All events are in-person except for the well-being phone calls and will require you to drive to the on-site location of JFS. You may pick your availability on their website so they can work with your schedule! Click the link here to volunteer with the organization!: https://jfsannarbor.org/volunteer/ ATTENTION: Once you have clicked the link, click the red box that says "Click Here to Volunteer". After doing so, fill out the volunteering form and indicate your preference of volunteer opportunities and available hours. Once you have scheduled something with JFS, contact me with proof of confirmation of your event from JFS. If you decide to do one of the in-person opportunities, please take a selfie of you at the event for proof of participation. If you choose to do one of the virtual opportunities, write a short reflection of your experience and send it to my email: argawron@umich.edu I hope you all enjoy!
