🐖Barn Sanctuary!🐄🐑

Date: Feb 29, 2020 at 10:20am to 2:30pm
**The Barn Sanctuary needs advanced notice so sign ups will be locked 72 hours before the event*** Come volunteer at the Barn Sanctuary! Volunteers will be helping clean animal enclosures and performing tasks around the barn. The barn animals include cows, pigs, goats, sheep, turkeys, chickens, ducks and geese!! It takes about 30 minutes to get to the Barn Sanctuary so please meet your driver at the League no later than 10:20! The event starts at 11am and ends at 2pm, and you can expect to be back to campus at 2:30. Here are some guidelines from Sarah (603-892-3123): Please plan to dress for the weather - layers are ideal. Gloves/work gloves are recommended, but we have a selection of extras available. We will be working outdoors in the rain or snow or sun! Please wear footwear that can get muddy/dirty and will keep your feet warm and you may want rain or muck boots in case it is muddy (it often is!). Please wear clothing that you do not mind getting dirty. I suggest also bringing a refillable water bottle and you may want to bring a snack. Please keep in mind any food items brought to the sanctuary MUST be vegan (no animal products including dairy, honey, etc). Parking is on the right before you reach the big red barn with "Barn Sanctuary" lettered on the side. There will be a sign up as well. Please plan to arrive about 5 minutes before the scheduled start time to park, gather your items and walk up to the big red barn which is where we will meet. Please do not bring food or treats for the animals as many of our residents must follow strict diets.
