Furstenberg Nature Area is home to prime examples of many ecosystems including wetland, woodland, prairie, and oak savanna. Come explore these various environments in their winter glory while helping to protect them by removing invasive shrubs. Please meet in the parking lot off of Fuller Road. Please dress in layers and wear shoes suitable for snow or wet ground. All participants must complete a release form. Tools, snacks, and know-how provided. The drive is ~15 minutes so meet driver at 12:45 pm at the Union to head over.
