“Echoes of the Exodus in Dr. King’s Work” A discussion of Dr. King’s work from the perspective of Judaic understanding of the Biblical Exodus and an examination of the pastoral and social implications of Dr. King’s use of Exodus imagery in his work. Speakers include Dr. Bryan Roby, Assistant Professor, Judaic Studies/Middle East Studies, University of Michigan and Dr. Aaron Chapman, Professor in Homiletics, Ashland Theological Seminary and Pastor of Dedicated to Christ Church. Following their presentations, and audience questions, the Michigan Center will host a light refreshments reception in the Kalamazoo Room of the Michigan League.
