Data is used to shape health behaviors, societal thinking and innovative technologies. Sensitive information such as sexual health data still facilitates the same vital roles. In this talk, I will discuss the use of sexual health data, its importance, and the opportunities present when working with sexual, ethnic, and racial minorities from three digital studies. I will also describe the need for engaging racial and sexual minorities in research and the impact it has on informing sexual wellness and data equity.
