Creature Conservancy!

Date: Feb 9, 2019 at 8:45am to 12:15pm
Do you like kangaroos, sloths, or other cool creatures?? If so, come volunteer for Creature Conservancy! Creature Conservancy is a nonprofit organization that strives to educate the public on conservation and the spectacular diversity of animal life. We help them with various maintenance tasks, such as cleaning animal enclosures, that help keep their animals happy and healthy. Please dress for the weather and wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. The animals are adorable and very fun to watch, but PLEASE wait to take pictures until you are done volunteering. For the last half hour, you will get to see the animals and tour the facility, so take pictures then! Meet your driver at the league a little before 8:45 AM to get there on time. The actual event will run 9am-12pm, so you will be returning to campus around 12:15 PM. They ask that volunteers park in the paved lot shared with Animal Kingdom Vet Hospital and meet staff by the fox enclosure out front. If staff does not meet you, then go through the gate by the left of the fox enclosure, and follow the path around the large barn. Turn right once getting past the barn, and you should see another building. Enter the door (it will enter into a kitchen area), and there will be staff members there.
