We will be helping the residents of Detroit by sorting food and clothing.The service center provides 228,000 Detroit Residents yearly with emergency clothing and food. The Mission of Capuchin Soup Kitchen is to tend to people's basic needs, especially the need for food, strive to stimulate minds and nourish spirits, and work to understand and address root causes of social injustice in our community. Please wear tennis shoes, long pants, and a shirt covering the armpits. NO sleeveless shirts, sandals, or flip flops. We will leave Ann Arbor at 11:00am and be back by 4:00pm. More details to come!
