Keep Growing Detroit (KGD) exists to promote a food sovereign city where the majority of fruits and vegetables Detroiters consume are grown by residents within the city’s limits. You will be helping to maintain their Plum Street Market Garden. This event takes place outside, so dress accordingly and wear clothes you don't mind gardening in. Because this event is in Detroit, you will leave Ann Arbor at 8 AM and volunteer from 9AM-12 PM. Time spent driving will count towards the hours you're awarded!
