The event will be a zero-waste reception immediately following the event "The Research University and Society: Five U-M Presidents on 40 Years of History," which takes place from 4:30-6pm in Rackham on Thursday, April 6th. Volunteers will make sure no one throws non-compostable items into the compost bins, and volunteers will be able help themselves to food at the event and will most likely also get a free t-shirt for helping out.
