Canine Companions is a rescue organization for dogs and cats. They host adoption events on Sundays at Petco of Auburn Hills. it is very similar to Best Buddies; volunteers will be helping the coordinators with any tasks they need. This includes playing with the animals, making them look adoptable, getting them fresh water, etc. The event is a little over an hour away though, so please meet your driver at the cube NO LATER than 10:45 AM to get there on time! The actual event will run 12-4 PM and you will be returning to campus around 5 PM. :)
