Volunteer with Michigan's Detroit Partnership to play games and participate in fun Halloween activities with children from Detroit! Details such as rides are still being figured out, but it is likely that Detroit Partnership will be providing transportation. This is a super chill and fun way to get some service hours during Halloweekend. (From the Detroit Partnership website) The Redford Brightmoor Initiative builds community and supports youth and adults to prepare for meaningful employment and service. This organization offers a free store that provides new and gently used clothing, household goods, and books for anyone who needs it. Text me at (847) 751-0090 if you have any questions, and I will update the event once I get more info on transportation.
