Champion Tree Discovery Walk Monday, October 20 2:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m. Meeting Place The hallway outside the Admin Suite (room 1005) We'll stop for warm beverages (provided) under the tree canopy. Bring your own mug, if you're able to. Walk length: 1.5 miles Join the Marsal Green Team and MHealthy Champions as we embark on a walk together to visit and learn about our nearby "Champion" Trees. The Ann Arbor Champion Tree program identifies and catalogs the largest trees of each species within the city. Every other year, nominations are accepted for prospective Champion Trees. After verification, winners are announced and reign as Champion for two years, or until they're unseated by a larger specimen.
