APO has adopted a compost bin through the UMich Zero Waste program! This entails checking the compost bin daily to report contaminations. The bin is located in the Language Resource Center in North Quad, near the front desk, next to the landfill and recycling bins. Checking the bin will earn you .5 service hours, which can be earned up to a total of 5 hours. You are not required to dig through the bin or take anything out, but if you would like to you are more than welcome to! Just report on what you can see from the surface :) You can go at any point during the day you sign up for, please just report it in the google sheets! Please fill out this google sheets on the Alpha Phi Omega tab reporting on the date, time, use level, and contamination in the bin : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mHkv7DMYayMcLVKVwey2eI3JXVaBw7mBCjLAfa1MDzs/edit?gid=798175861#gid=798175861 Filling out this form will allow me to give you your service hours.
