Hello Brothers! This year's Youth Service Day Events will be hosted on Saturday, April 26th, from 10 AM-4 PM and Sunday, April 27th, from 1-4 PM. The Saturday service focus will be on helping animals in the community! For the first half of the program, we will have stations where we make cat/dog toys and pet blankets for Leuk's Landing and the Humane Society of Huron Valley, as well as wild bird feeders to hang up around Ann Arbor. The latter half will involve going to Leuk's Landing to play with the cats! Since the purpose of Youth Service Day is to engage the students with service, we will prioritize the Leuk's Landing spots for them. If there is still space available and we have enough volunteers that stay behind, then some of our members may attend Leuk's as well. Lunch will be provided on this day! The Sunday service event will be an EcoWorkday at Matthaei Botanical Gardens. During this workday, we will help remove invasive plant species to strengthen the ecosystem. Lunch will not be provided on this day.
