Pledges must comment “I volunteer to co-chair --- Come help the San Jose ReStore, located in the Environmental Innovation Center (EIC)! Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Proceeds are used to build homes, community, and hope locally and around the world. Typical ReStore volunteer activities include helping with store organization and retail inventory, cleaning and organizing, unloading donations from our truck, helping customers with their purchases, and special projects. No experience is necessary. Any necessary tools, safety equipment, and training are provided on your volunteer day.
