"Join us for our upcoming annual Family Art Day on Saturday, April 27, 2019, 12-4pm. Family Art Day is a FREE festival for families with hands-on visual art activities, bilingual gallery tours, multicultural dance and music performances, dance classes, and yoga. ¡Acompáñenos en MACLA para una celebración con la comunidad! Nuestro Día del Arte y la Familia es un evento para jóvenes y familias con actividades de artes visuales, tours bilingües de nuestra galería de arte, presentaciones de danza y música multiculturales, y clases de danza y yoga. We'll hace music and dance performances, arts and crafts, and dance lessons all taking place at the same time. We will also be joined by local community organizations and business that will also be holding their own art activities who will need assistance. We will need help with the following: -set up -clean up -facilitating crowds -art activities -info tables -conducting surveys -distributing free water and snacks We can accommodate large school and corporate groups, as well as shorter work shifts. Possible volunteer shifts are: 10am-1:30pm, 1:30-5pm, or something else upon communication with MACLA. Volunteers will be provided with water, snacks, shade, and will also have the opportunity of participating in dance and art activities.
