YOU MUST REGISTER BEFORE SIGNING UP AT THE FOLLOWING URL FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE Please choose the correct date and time (located at the bottom of the page): https://govoluntr.com/events/2620 -------------------------------------------- Volunteers will learn how to harvest, prune, water and seed vegetable starts in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way. Volunteers are able to bring home their produce after a workday. The community garden is a place where students can learn and participate in the process of growing food sustainably. This space provides a place for student initiative, cooperation and cultural exchange using the growing of food as an exploration of community involvement. Expect to get your hands and clothing to get dirty, meet some new people and enjoy what the garden has to offer! Meet at location at 10:00AM Dress Code: Closed toed shoes and dress for outdoor work. Letters/Pledge Pin. Tasks: Farm, harvest, water and seed plants. You also get to bring food home. Materials: Bring a reusable bag if you wish to bring home produce.
