PCN 31: Gumising Ka is a story about a Pilipino-American named Andre Buenavista looking to graduate from SJSU by taking a Pilipino Experience class. Joined by his best friend Steven Yu, he meets Arawan Magsuno, Rebecca Murphy, Prof. Dawn Magsuno, and Albert Mezzo -- and they influence him on his journey to finding his connection to culture. With the help of the people in his life, Andre goes from dreaming about his ancestors to waking up and embracing his culture with others.
