Meeting Time & Location: DC @ 6:45 Event Description: The Marion Cilker Conference for the Arts in Education is an annual event devoted to demonstrating the importance of infusing the arts into the classroom curriculum. It began in 2009 through a generous donation from Marion Cilker, an SJSU graduate and local artist. This conference is co-sponsored by the Connie Lurie College of Education at San José State University and the Santa Clara County Office of Education and brings together students, teachers, and parents with local artists and arts organizations to share the joy of teaching through the arts. This will be held at the San Jose Museum of Art, 110 S Market St, San Jose, CA 95113. We need volunteers to help during the day. You can still register for workshops and also volunteer!
