Overfelt Gardens Park Clean Up (brother-hosted event) Overfelt Gardens located in San Jose is home to both Chinese and Japanese Cultural Monuments and History. After the drought Overfelt Gardens has been forgotten and is increasingly starting to be filled with trash, graffiti and an unsettling aura. As brothers we will be giving back to the community by heading to the location picking up garbage left in the park and refining and maintaining the monuments and structures in the park. Remember to bring water and sunscreen as it is currently summer and when the sun is at its highest peaks. There will be loads of shade but its better to be safe then sorry. Chairing: Brothers must select “I volunteer to coordinate.” to chair. Pledges must comment “I would like to co-chair.” to co-chair. First come first serve. Extra Chairing Tasks: Please include this evaluation form in your Thank-You email: http://bit.ly/apogb_evaluation_form Needs to get the garbage bags and pick up sticks from SAA within 24 hours before service. If garbage bags are unavailable, the Service Coordinator will have extra bags and gloves available. Service Coordinator Contact: Brian Mamuyac @ brian.mamuyac@sjsu.edu
