Alpha Phi Omega Meeting Time and Location: 101 E. San Fernando Apt. #403 Event Description: We will be making cards to donate to children in hospitals. Cards will be meaningful and provide emotional support to help children in difficult times. These cards are important in lifting up a child’s spirit while in the hospital. They help provide emotional support to children that spend long periods of time in the hospital. These messages help young children, giving them an uplifting and positive environment. The messages in each cards will have a minimum of 5 sentences. In addition, we will also make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to donate to Loaves and Fishes. These will be donated to families that are struggling and have food insecurity in the Bay Area. There are many individuals from all walks of life that struggles with food insecurity and donations such as these will create a positive impact in the lives of families and children. This cause helps benefit the community around us by helping the youths and their families having the food they need.
