Meeting Time & Location: DC @ 9:30 am Maximum Number of Brothers: 10 Event Description: Garden To Table’s mission is to create a sustainable local food system that builds community, improves access to healthy food, and teaches residents how to cultivate their own fruits and vegetables. Over the past three years, we've built 8 neighborhood gardens at apartment buildings, schools, and homes in Central San Jose, harvested and donated over 30,000 pounds of fruit from neighborhood trees to local food programs, and conducted numerous gardening and nutrition classes for community members and elementary school students. Dress Code: Letters/Pin; closed toe shoes, long pants, clothes that you don't mind getting dirty in Extra Details: Bring water and sun protection as it can get hot during the service.
