Meeting Time & Location: DC @ 12:30 pm Maximum Number of Brothers: 10 Event Description: Cityteam San Jose Community Services helps meet the critical needs of community members living below the poverty line by providing them with the resources they need to overcome the hardships they are facing and to break out of the cycle of poverty. Cityteam receives donations of food, clothing, household items, diapers, hygiene products, and furniture that will then be distributed to families in need. Volunteers may help with tasks such as sorting donations, packing food boxes, maintaining the gallery (free store), organizing the warehouse, cleaning, distributing food bags, and/or assisting clients. Volunteers should be prepared to work hard as you make a meaningful impact in your community! -Should be able to lift 25 lbs. or more. -Please do not bring valuables. We do not have a secure place for volunteers to leave belongings. -We encourage volunteers to take this opportunity to clean out your closet, garage, or pantry and bring along items that could be donated to bless another family Dress Code: Letters/Pledge Pin Must wear long pants and closed-toe shoes.
