Event Description: Join the Sharks Foundation for a day of exercise, activities geared toward a healthy lifestyle and fundraising at the annual Fitness Faceoff powered by Kaiser Permanente on Saturday, September 30!
The event offers a 5K, 10K and Kids Fun Run to accommodate all ages and skill levels. All courses start and finish at the home of your San Jose Sharks, SAP Center. Registration includes a Sharks themed teal race shirt plus a puck "medal" distributed to participants as they cross the finisher's line. Participants will also receive an exclusive buy-one, get-one ticket offer for select regular season 2017-18 Sharks home game (details to be sent directly to registrants in August).
A Health Festival will showcase a variety of vendors with plenty of fun activities for the whole family including inflatables, face painters, and more! The overall top-3 male and top-3 female finishers in both the 5K and 10K will be acknowledged on stage in the Health Festival during an awards presentation.
Regardless of your experience or athletic ability, Fitness Faceoff will be a great day to highlight the importance of health and wellness and raise funds for the Sharks Foundation. Net proceeds from Fitness Faceoff powered by Kaiser Permanente benefit the Sharks Foundation and its mission to assist underserved youth and families in the Bay Area.
