Join the Green Kirkland Partnership to help with the restoration of Crestwoods Park. Volunteers will spend the afternoon participating in restoration activities which include planting native plants, removing non-native invasive plants like English ivy and Himalayan blackberry, spreading mulch (wood-chips) over cleared areas, and placing large woody debris for animal habitat. No experience necessary and all tools/gloves are provided! Bring: * Closed Toed Shoes Required (ex: tennis shoes, sneakers or boots but no sandals) * Clothes that can get dirty, rain gear, warm layers, long pants/long sleeves * Full water bottle & Snacks * Tools, training and gloves are provided thx Sophia for the plug
