That book is read across the country and around the world by adults and young readers on Read for the Record day to raise awareness about the importance of early literacy. We will have our team leaders, accompanied by a few community volunteers/students, come to their assigned classrooms to read Thank You, Omu! After the reading, the volunteers will lead the class in a fun art activity.
