Come out to support Anne and Julieann's new RSO on campus! This will be Snail Mail Society's FIRST EVER general meeting and it'd be great to get as much support as possible!! For those of you who haven't heard, SMSUW is a student organization that aims to motivate, teach, and preserve the art of letter writing by encouraging UW students to communicate with those in their communities for various purposes. We are kicking off Spring Quarter with the Love Letters Project, where people can nominate others for a bundle of "love letters". Not love in the romantic sense, but love in an encouraging and compassionate manner. Everyone has the ability to offer meaningful words to a friend or even a stranger. Nominations can fulfill any purpose be it congratulatory, empathetic or a pick me up, or a cool birthday card! We will also be talking about this project, more activities we have planned for the future, and the vision that guides us at this meeting. So come through and support some brothers!!
