**Once you sign up, please register on the website here so they know you're coming! http://seattle.cedar.greencitypartnerships.org/event/10035/ ** Join the Green Seattle Day fun at Woodland Park. Green Seattle Day is our biggest party of the year, and we want you there! Join hundreds of volunteers planting thousands of plants in parks throughout the Emerald City. All community members are welcome! This event is family-friendly and open to all ages. Volunteers will plant trees and other plants that will become the future forest of the park! What to Bring: Come dressed for the weather (rain or shine) in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Wear sturdy closed-toe shoes (rubber boots, hiking/tennis shoes), long sleeves, long pants, warm layers and rain jacket. We'll have tools and gloves for you to use, as well as coffee, water, and a mid-morning snack. Where to Park: The restoration site is southwest of shelters 4 and 7. Parking in that area is off W Green Lake Way N just past the tennis courts.
