For example, there’s a kids game called lucky chess that involves standing on different circles on the floor. Kids are more likely to participate if they see others playing first, so a few volunteers are there actually playing the game. The same with the origami folding – people are more inclined to participate if they see others first (those volunteers should have some minimal skills in basic origami folding).
