Join Asian Coalition for Equality for our general meeting to demystify the acronym, “FOB”. What does “FOB” stand for? Fresh off the Boat. At the University of Washington, we see how “FOB” is interpreted as completely derogatory or something to be proud of as well. Our discussions around “FOB” will unpack the ambiguities of the acronym, but understand everyone’s experiences with the acronym. This is our second to last meeting of the year, so come and get to know us before the school year is over! ***Please write a one paragraph reflection about what you learned at the event and send it to yuenlingtsui@gmail.com within two weeks to receive leadership credit***
