The Gift of Life is dedicated to the mission of saving lives through organ and tissue donation, as well as providing hope to patients in need of transplants. By promoting awareness and education around the importance of donation, the organization works to ensure that every individual has the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of others. Hosting swab drives is crucial in this mission, as they help recruit potential stem cell and bone marrow donors. Many patients with life-threatening illnesses, such as leukemia, depend on finding a compatible match for life-saving transplants. By organizing these drives, communities can expand the donor registry, increasing the likelihood of finding matches and giving patients a much-needed second chance at life.
