If you have a closing shift, you are expected to stay until all RSO items have been returned to their office. This is a MANDATORY event. If you cannot make it, fill out the excusal form with PROOF (e.g., a picture of your Canvas class schedule). If you CAN make a shift but the shift is FULL please contact me at +1(713) 380-6434. You are NOT allowed to participate in the drive if you missed the training on Monday. Please contact me so we can find a time to meet and introduce you to the presentation, as this drive will occur again in the future. Hosting swab drives is crucial in this mission, as they help recruit potential stem cell and bone marrow donors. Many patients with life-threatening illnesses, such as leukemia, depend on finding a compatible match for life-saving transplants. By organizing these drives, communities can expand the donor registry, increasing the likelihood of finding matches and giving patients a much-needed second chance at life. Each swab taken represents a step closer to hope and healing for those in need.
