Please join us to deliver groceries to 300 low-income seniors in the North Capitol and Shaw neighborhoods! The week of the delivery we will send you an email to confirm your participation. Because of the COVID-19 crisis, we are staggering volunteer arrival times. Keep an eye out from an email from us the week of the delivery for instructions on how to get your assigned arrival time and list! All volunteers ages 12 years and up are required to be fully vaccinated to help out with grocery deliveries. In order to participate in this delivery, you will be asked to fill out a survey on Monday, October 11th. Please keep an eye out for an email from Tulin with the survey link and the survey response deadline. If you complete the survey, you will be assigned a food pick-up time sometime between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. You can expect your deliveries to take one to two hours total. We are staggering the food pick-ups to maintain proper distancing. Unfortunately, we cannot accept last minute surveys or volunteers, as we have to assign lists, schedule pick-ups, and send out this information to volunteers in advance of the delivery date.
