Girl Up and She's the First invite you to an exclusive screening of 10x10's acclaimed film, "Girl Rising" which recently premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Come to Ward 1 at 8:15pm to learn about the missions of the female empowerment organizations Girl Up and She's the First. After a short panel discussion from representatives, we will watch Girl Rising, a film about nine different girls, living in nine different countries. Girl Rising features the narration from distinct women actors, including: Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, and Selena Gomez. This event is open to the public for men and women of all ages.
