Warm Up America! is a 501C3 nonprofit, was founded in 1991 by Evie Rosen. It is committed to motivating, training, and coordinating volunteers to knit and crochet afghans and clothing for people in need. Completed objects include hats, scarves, and blankets and are donated to nursing homes, children's hospitals, homeless shelters, and more. We want to make this project accessible to everyone in APO, so all I'm asking is that you contribute a small square in either knit or crochet which will be assembled into one APO afghan that will be donated to Warm Up America! If you've never knit or crocheted before, don't worry! I've created a beginner guide to all things yarn-crafty: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YUoip93xq2X3WjdPNd3FV0ZFWzliyB9wqsUctzDP6zY/edit?usp=sharing I've also compiled a playlist of beginner tutorials for both knit and crochet to help you get started: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQqnEi3yUQFUYGWPasUaKX5Ao_b7UEZlv Please feel free to reach out to me if you need any support with this project! **For asynchronous service, please attach a photo of what you worked on to the project report form for verification!**
